My project Stratocaster... Fender decal has finally arrived. Bro helped me out since he's a killer with water decals and other shit that requires steady hands. AM Standard parts arrived a week later...

Headstock just sanded and taped up. All ready for a glossy undercoat! Note, gloss undercoat is required for the water decal to adhere without crinkling and all other blah blah...

After decal applied. No mist coat yet, so still 80% unfinished.

Final matt lacquer spray is done. Final touches of sanding to be done.

The finished product :)

AM Standard string trees have replaced the original "butterfly" ones. Quite a bitch to fit these all so I was required to drill yet another hole in the headstock for them.

AM Standard strap pin. Nothing to cry home about but still, every little thing counts :P

AM Standard neckplate.

Notice something different? Pickguard swapped to an American Standard 11-hole 3-ply white pickguard.

Another angle of my baby.

Machine heads on the Planet Wave tuners have been swapped out and replaced with just the Gotoh heads. But ONLY the heads were swapped, rest of the tuner parts are intact.

Didn't really love the tone I got from the Lace Sensor pickups and so with ComputerGuySG's help, swapped the pickups to these pickups from Fender. Now they sound just so sweet with my Ibanez TS9DX.

Guitar setup goes straight into my PC. Behringer MIC200 Tube Preamp/Modeller, Ibanez TS9DX, Jim Dunlop Crybaby (Circa 1988).

Latest shot of my pet project... Fender tortoise shell pickguard with Fender parchment accessory kit.

Matching with my Fender bass, so nice...
